If you know a little something about networking and connecting, then events are a must-attend for you. Even better if the event is focused on an aspect you relate to…just imagine a construction worker going to a construction networking event–it is the perfect way to land possible clients, make like-minded connections and friends.

For 2025, we have a few such events lined up already, and many being slotted for various days of the months as the year progresses. For now though, here is the slotted list

1. Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo 2025

Organized by the Uganda Tourism Board, this event brings together global buyers, tour operators, and travel enthusiasts to show the best of Uganda’s tourism sector, and of course, advertise their agencies, which usually translates to exclusive discount prices on services they may render. Past editions have attracted thousands of attendees, featuring wildlife showcases, networking sessions, and cultural exhibitions–be it for the thrill of it, to network or as a date (Yeah, as a date) the Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo is usually a great event for the attendees.

2. Uganda Buildcon International Expo 2025

Date: August 7–9, 2025
Location: UMA Show Grounds, Kampala

If you’re in the construction, engineering, or real estate business, the Uganda Buildcon Expo is the ultimate networking event. This is East Africa’s biggest construction B2B expo, featuring the latest trends in architecture, interior design, and building technology. 3. Uganda National Digital Health Conference 2025

The event, which has grown in popularity over the years, offers different race categories for professionals and amateur runners alike, and in this one, you definitely don’t want to end up on the professional runners’ track if you are not. Past participants have enjoyed scenic routes with views of the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains. 5. Uganda Martyrs’ Day 2025

Date: June 3, 2025
Location: Namugongo, near Kampala

This major religious event in Uganda, Martyrs’ Day attracts millions of pilgrims from across Africa and beyond, some footing really surprising distances for it. The event commemorates the 45 Ugandan martyrs who were executed for their faith in the late 19th century by the Kabaka(king) Mwanga. The annual pilgrimage to Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine is both a spiritual journey and a cultural experience for many, and to others a fun day out for drinking and eating and buying items hawking on the streets to the Namugongo shrines. In previous years, the event has seen processions, night vigils, and inspiring testimonies from pilgrims. If you’re looking for religious events in Uganda, this is undoubtedly the most significant.
