“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mezo Noir Kampala will be temporarily closed to the public, effective immediately, until further notice,” this is the statement that is making rounds on most Ugandan’s social media pages following the death of one of it’s patrons.
The shocking allegations surrounding Mezo Noir Kampala have taken a tragic turn following reports that Martha, an ISBAT University fresh graduate who was allegedly drugged at the popular nightclub, has passed away. Martha reportedly collapsed after consuming alcohol under suspicious circumstances at Mezo Noir. Sources who have reviewed surveillance footage say she was last seen entering the club’s office with a man identified as Eddy.
Moments later, witnesses claim, Eddy emerged from the office in a panic and returned with other individuals. It is alleged that they later used the club’s exit door to rush Martha to the hospital, where she was ultimately pronounced dead.
Police have since arrested several individuals in connection with the case, as investigations into the shocking incident intensify.
Mezo Noir, which has recently announced a temporary closure due to “unforeseen circumstances,” is now under heavy scrutiny.
The Late Martha is a daughter to Seth Murari a Presidential Adviser on Sports.
Many netizens have come out on their social media platforms to talk about the tragedy and rather show empathy to the grieving family but some still blame the generation for such endings
