On June 22, the famous satirical cartoonist Jim Spire Sentongo announced the death of his elder brother who was also the heir of their father.
There has been disinformation saying that the deceased was shot dead and then dumped in a trench.
However, Jim Spire today clarified on this disinformation and many more concerning the death of his elder brother.
In his tweet, he says its not true that the deceased was shot and dumped in a trench, was not kidnapped by anyone for political or other related reasons.
Spire goes ahead to clarify that It is not true that he had ANY business relationship with Owek. Peter Mayiga. He was only a chief guest at the launch of Henrob Hospital in 2020 which Kiggundu built over the years through very hard work from a one room clinic in 2003 to where it is now. It is named after his sons Henry and Robert.
And he clarifies that the postmortem result shows that his brother died of Heart attack and was found a day after.
Dr. John Spire Kiggundu was a renowned obstetrician and gynecologist based in Kampala, Uganda, valued Director of Henrob Hospital Zzana.
He specialized in gynae-laparoscopy, a minimally invasive surgical technique used in women’s reproductive health.
Dr. John Spire Kiggundu will be laid to rest on Wednesday at his ancestral home in Butozi Masaka.
