Emmanuel Bwiire of Benti Boys Reported Missing, Duo Partner Appeals for Help

Emmanuel Bwiire, one of the Ugandan music duo Benti Boys, has been reported missing by his brother and fellow duo member, Steven, who made a public appeal for information during an interview with Baba TV urging anyone with details about Bwiire’s whereabouts to come forward.

According to Steven, Bwiire left their shared home in his car on Monday, June 9, 2025, at around 2:00 PM. Since then, his phone has been switched off and unreachable, including on WhatsApp, which Steven described as highly unusual.

“We always keep each other informed about our whereabouts,” Steven says during appearance with Baba T.V

The duo, known as Benti Boys Africa, gained significant recognition in Uganda’s vibrant music scene, especially after releasing their hit song “Wanawankya.”

The track, produced with the help of renowned producer Daddy Andre, became a chart-topping sensation and marked a breakthrough for the multi-talented brothers, who also gained attention with earlier releases like “Birungi” and “Nakuwona.”

Their dynamic performances and unique sound have made them a beloved act in the industry.

Bwiire was spotted at Temperature Touch Studios on the night before they headed to Pier One for a scheduled performance.

After the event, the brothers part ways, and Bwiire’s disappearance was noted when he failed to return home and  respond to attempts to contact him.
