The weekend steps in brightly with love and celebration as two prominent Ugandan figures, Ykee Benda and Kuseim, proposed to their long-time girlfriends, who joyfully accepted.
On Thursday, June 12, Kuseim, whose real name is Emmanuel Ssempijja, a renowned music producer, popped the question to Kathy Bae Powerz, a professional makeup artist, in a romantic setting featuring a boat and a floral heart-shaped arrangement.
The following day, on June 13, Ykee Benda, the boss of Mpaka Records and a singer, proposed to his girlfriend Emilly at Divine Resort.
Surrounded by close friends, Ykee knelt down and presented a ring, marking their engagement in public and heartfelt moment.
The two are now offically off the market as the public awaits their marriage plans.
